# Bonding

## What is bonding?

**Bonding is another important value-building strategy of NOSTRA which will be implemented from Season Two onwards.** It allows **NostraCity** to acquire its own liquidity and other assets by selling $BOSS tokens at a discount. The protocol quotes the bonder with terms such as the bond price, the amount of $BOSS tokens entitled to the bonder, and the vesting term. The bonder can claim some of the rewards ($BOSS tokens) as they vest, and at the end of the vesting term, the full amount will be claimable.

Bonding will be essential to build our treasury from Season Two onwards.
